Compton - The Window Compositor for Light Desktops HD
Some of you might be running a distribution that features a light desktop environment, such as XFCE or LXDE. If this is the case, you are most likely using the default window compositor (what renders your windows). With Compton, you can add amazing fades, transitions, effects, and much more to your windows. You can have all of this while still keeping your system running smoothly, as Compton only takes up about 80MB of memory.
