Lowering My Old Volvo A Bit (A Lot) Differently HD
SUBSCRIBE NOW! https://bit.ly/2VwQ178 After installing the front coilovers from a Volvo 850 (Check my other video) it was time to lower the rear. Lowering the rear of a 960 II is tricky. Installing nivomat leaf spring and using a coilover or a air shock instead of a shock absorber is the only way it has been done. But I wanted something easier and cheaper so I designed a new lower arm where the transversal leaf spring supports. I designed the arm to lower the rear of the car for about 40 mm but when I got everything installed the car were only 20 mm lower. Planning to design a new lower arm with adjustable ride height soon.
