Restoration Rusty USSR Carpenter Axe HD

Hello folks! Today I want to show you my new restoration project. I found this old rusty carpenter axe at flea market. The axe is interesting and old, also axe head have stamp TVT- that means Zavod Truda Vacha (Factory Trud Vacha). Well, time to restore it! Restoration process: I used rust remover liquid to remove rust and dirty. Then I washed it in cold water via basic cleaning agent. Then rubbed with oil to avoid rust. I used anglegrinder machine to clean surface of axe, but I saved the stamp on axe head. I used file to corrected shape of axe head. Then I polished the axe head, but without mirror effect. For handle, I used birch tree. At final steps I used two components paint and linseed oil to impregnation axe handle. I hope, you will enjoy this restoration video. Thank you!
