Old Rusty USSR ZIG Axe Restoration HD

Hello folks! Today I want to show you my new restoration project. I found this old rusty axe at flea market and bought USD $1. This is vintage axe with stamp ZIG 1... The ZIG stamp in USSR the plant named Gorbunov. Year of issue 1968 I guess. Well, the first stem in restoration project was rust removal liquid. I used it and after washing in water with cleaning agent. Next, I welded the cracks on the axe with a welding machine. Then correct the shape of axe via files and sandpapers machine. The handle axe I made from walnut tree. Wedge made of oak. I also painted the axe handle with two-component paint and soaked it in linseed oil.
