Old Rusty Fireman Axe Restoration HD

Hello folks! Today I want to show you my new restoration project! Imagine, I found old rusty fireman axe at flea market! Of course, I bought it for $3 USD. I never had before fireman axe. This an axe were made in 1960 as said seller. Also, as you seen I made a photo from flea market were I found that axe among other rusty tools. First of all I started to remove first layr of rusty with rust remover and knife. Then I used electrolysis to remove all rusty from axe. After that started to polish it. I used next sandpapers with next gradation (240, 320, 480, 600, 800, 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500) and finally I polish that axe with angle grinder and special polish a dis circle. The second part of restoration was an axe handle. I used maple tree for handle. With hand plane I was made shape of old axe handle which was previously and after used files and sandpapers to made smooth surface. Well, finally I made a test.
