Police Now Recruitment Process - Managing the role play scenario (also good for Final Interview!) HD
Several members of the Bluelight Police Recruitment Facebook Support Group have asked about the Police Now Role Plays. These exercises are where you will be put in a position of being a PC in the Police Now scheme and where the role player will represent a community member with some kind of complaint or representation. This is my World! 35 years in the police sector and 15 years of that time working in forces and across the European Union in Tactical and Strategic Community Policing. In this video I share with you a model for how to manage the role plays called CUDSAR. This is a non contact conflict management model from the World of Public Order Policing that I have adapted for use in Police Recruitment Role Plays. BTW - Not a member of the Bluelight Facebook Group? It’s almost 14,000 strong now and about 4000 of them serving officers. With over 40,000 posts, comments and reactions a month, can you afford not to be part of it? You can join here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1647413885546871 Another popular post in the group at the moment is my offer of a Police Recruitment ‘Booster Bundle.’ To get you started in your recruitment journey, I’m giving away practice question banks, access to my Preparing to Join the Police, Online Assessment Centre and Interview Masterclasses as well as subscription to my YouTube Channel and Podcasts. Plus, you’ll also get an eBook, ‘The History of the Police in England’ by Captain W.L. Melville Lee.
