Burnt copper wire cleaning with vinegar and salt HD

Description Here I am trying to clean copper wire, which had been burnt through a voltage surge. The wire was stripped but it was tarnished black/grey. Today I try using vinegar to clean and a combination of vinegar and salt. Watch the colour change. Does this effect the bright copper price? Leave a comment if you know and is there a way I can make the wire shiny again? I did clean and rinse the wire with water.
