Look @ Redcore Linux - Gentoo based LXQt Desktop Linux I look at Redcore Linux. Redcore is a Gentoo based Linux distribution coming out of Romania. The desktop is LXQt at version 0.11.0 and presents a very usable interface. It includes the Calamares system installer and offers a wide variety of desktop software out of the box. Sisyphus is the name of the package manager and the command syntax is fairly simple and easy to use. The documentation is readily available, yet not very well labeled for the English speaker. However, I was able to search for and install packages and update the system. Getting the AQEMU virtual machine manager working was unsuccessful.
